"KICKFLIP" is an Artcare Charity initiative that aims at funding visual art supplies and courses for underprivileged children all throughout Hong Kong in order to inspire their creativity.

LOGO DESIGN CONCEPT
My logo tries to channel an upbeat mood through the elements and colours used. I chose skateboarding as it is one of those hobbies that I find to be more on the adventurous side of things, something out of one's comfort zone.

ELEMENTS MESSAGE
The heart of the skateboard represents the compassion and kind-hearted intentions this charity encapsulates. The skateboard embodies the actions I take as a charity to better help the lives of others as well as the community.
03.
WHY KICKFLIP
I chose the action of a kickflip as it is an iconic skateboard trick. I want to help others in a special way as well as make the idea of being there for those in need more popular amongst people's mindsets.

循道衛理中心致力實踐基督使命，關愛弱勢社群。透過提供多元化活動，讓兒童及青少年從遊戲中學習，培養團隊合作精神、發揮創意、提昇自信、增強自我認識及關心社會等。

Yao Dao Cumberland Presbyterian Church
(金巴崙長老會耀道堂)
Yao Dao Cumberland Presbyterian Church established in 2001. Our church continually serves and cares for the needs of families in Tin Shui Wai, especially to those grassroots families that are facing financial hardships and lack the necessary materials support. Focusing on the children and youth from the families in needs, we reach students of primary and secondary schools nearby. Free tutorial, fellowship (named YD fire), youth worship (named GIG) is provided to the children and young people. We really hope to help them build up stable social relationship and develop positive thinking through spiritual guidance.
金巴崙長老會耀道堂成立於二零零一年。教會不竭地關懷及提供支援予天水圍社區家庭，特別是面對經濟有困難、缺乏資源的基層家庭。針對這些家庭的孩子，教會集中接觸天悅邨附近的中小學生；我們舉辦義務補習班、小學生團契（稱為耀伙子）、青少年崇拜（稱為GIG），希望透過信仰協助青少年人建立穩定的社交關係及正向思維。

The Hong Kong Down Syndrome Association (香港唐氏綜合症協會)
Registered as a non-profit-making organization since October 1987, the Hong Kong Down Syndrome Association is committed to serving individuals with Down Syndrome, intellectual disabilities or other disabilities and their family members with integrated family support and vocational rehabilitation services. Support Service for Enhancing Mutual Help among Residents Living in Sub-divided Units in Kwun Tong
(支援觀塘區劏房居民互助計劃)
The team serves hidden sub-divided households in Kwun Tong, hoping to provide support and improve family relationships for families in need. In the past, we organized different interest classes, experience activities, learning platforms and parent-child activities for children, so that they could establish a positive life value.
本中心服務觀塘區隱蔽的劏房住戶，希望為有需要家庭提供支援及促進家庭關係。過去，我們為小朋友舉辦不同的興趣班、體驗活動、學習平台、親子活動等，讓他們建立正向的人生價值。
